CITY OF MANTECA: Season of Giving- Manteca Senior Center 2020

Gifts(1000)

City Of Manteca recently issued the following announcement.

The Manteca Senior Center offers programs at Christmas to assist families in need with gifts and food boxes within the Manteca Unified School District. The Center also offers a program for senior citizens that may receive little or no gifts at Christmas time as well! Also this year the Senior Center staff was able to hand out dog toys at the Dog Park to remember the communities fur babies as well.

For Kids’ Sake program- This year through a partnership with the Silver Barons MC For Kids’ Sake Nonprofit, the City of Manteca’s Senior Center and Manteca Unified School District were able to provide Christmas gifts  and food  to over 2,000 needy children in our local community. We received amazing support and donations from local community businesses, organizations and the many...many community members who donated at our Stuff the Bus events  adopted children for Christmas and who dropped off items that we needed and by making monetary donations. Although not everyone was able to be featured in the video, we thank everyone who gave to our program this year! This program is in its 10th year and while this year was more of a challenge we were still able to provide for the children in our community.

Angel Tree program . This year we were able to provide gifts to close to 80 Senior citizens in the community. Thank you to the many residents and community organizations that adopted seniors, donated items needed and for your monetary donations We appreciate your support.

Dog Toy giveaway - After receiving a donation of dog toys  we were able to share with our friends at the Manteca Dog Park. It was so fun to share with all of these fur babies.

Merry Christmas from the Manteca Senior Center.
